Kate Carroll (her/them) is the kind of person you want around when a problem has most  scratching their heads. Give her a complicated process, a stubborn problem, or a mystery to solve, and Kate is probably already on it!

Today, Kate is an Inbound Sales Associate at Third Marble Marketing, where they bring their knack for problem-solving, process engineering, and communication to helping prospective clients find the right marketing solutions for their businesses.

Before joining Third Marble, Kate's career took a few wonderfully unexpected turns. They've worked as a beer sales rep, graphic designer, glass design production manager, competitive bartender, nightclub manager, and even a traveling comedian. In other words, Kate has pretty much mastered the art of talking to just about anyone, and solving just about anything.

During her time at Third Marble, Kate has helped onboard over 750 clients. One of Kate’s proudest accomplishments has been overhauling the client onboarding process and creating efficient processes for the account management department. Her philosophy is simple: transparency, efficiency, understanding, and kindness. Kate also believes strongly in the genuine care Third Marble employees have for their clients, which is one of the things that makes the company culture so special to her.

Outside of work, Kate is an avid gamer. Board games, video games, tabletop RPGs—if you can gameify it, they want to play it. Kate is also a prolific writer who has been writing since her teenage years, with three television scripts, including a pilot, and two novels currently in the works.

Originally from Redondo Beach, CA, Kate grew up between Washington, DC and Long Beach, CA, before eventually making her/their way to Richmond, VA. If Kate weren’t working in marketing, they might have pursued one of several fascinating career paths including television writing, law, postmodern philosophy, therapy, or even becoming a lineman... Just your standard five-year plan.

Kate also studied cinema abroad for a semester in Sicily, where they had the opportunity to meet filmmaker Kevin Smith at the premiere of Red State. Between her wildly diverse career background, love of storytelling, obsession with games, and talent for making complicated things work better, Kate brings a one-of-a-kind perspective to the Third Marble team.
