Liz Foster

Account Manager

Meet one of the friendly faces behind the Google Ads magic at Third Marble Marketing! As an Account Manager, Liz combines strategy, communication, and a healthy dose of analytical thinking to help businesses get the most out of their Google Ads campaigns.

Her love for local businesses started long before Third Marble. Her very first college internship was at a community garden, followed by a role at a salon in Charlottesville where she managed email marketing campaigns and the front desk. Helping small businesses make a direct impact in their communities has always been especially rewarding to her, making Third Marble a natural next step in her career. And, as she says, it didn't hurt that she immediately liked everyone who interviewed her!

A typical day starts with catching up on emails and tackling urgent issues before jumping into client strategy meetings. From there, she works closely with the Ads team, analyzes campaign performance, and looks for opportunities to make campaigns even better. Her approach is guided by three words: kind, collaborative, and analytical.

For Liz, collaboration and transparency are at the heart of great client relationships. She believes it takes a team to achieve strong results, and she's committed to giving clients an honest, clear picture of what's working—and what might need a little tweaking.

Originally from a life that has taken her all over the United States, Liz now calls Virginia home. She currently lives in Charlottesville and commutes to the Third Marble office, although a move to Richmond is on the horizon!

When she's not diving into Google Ads data, you'll probably find her thrifting, taking nature photographs, hosting board game nights, or catching live music. She's especially passionate about supporting local artists and has recently been taking a photography course on shooting in different natural-light environments.

And now for the important stuff: she's been to more doom metal shows than any other music genre.  Yes, really.

Her advice to anyone starting out in marketing? “Dive in! Digital marketing is constantly changing, and there's always something new to learn.” According to Liz, “nothing beats hands-on experience, and having knowledgeable mentors in your corner makes the journey even better!”
