Ryan Brunt - Search Engine Analyst & Google Business Profile Specialist

Ryan Brunt
Search Engine Analyst & Google Business Profile Specialist
With a background that spans English literature, publishing, retail, freelance writing, and more than a few unexpected career twists, Ryan has found the perfect place to put his love of words, research, and problem-solving to work at Third Marble Marketing.
As a Search Engine Analyst and Google Business Profile Specialist, Ryan works behind the scenes to help our clients get found on Google. From optimizing websites from top to bottom to managing Google Business Profiles, he makes sure our clients’ online presence is accurate, optimized, and working together to support their visibility in search.
His path to digital marketing was anything but conventional. After earning a degree in English Literature, he worked with Richmond-area publishers and magazines, managing everything from submissions to social media. He also spent years in retail, where he discovered an unexpected passion for inventory management—yes, really! Along the way, he kept writing as a freelancer, tackling everything from movie reviews and how-to guides to listicles and even ghostwriting mystery and romance novels.
Today, that love of research and writing has found a new home in SEO. He especially enjoys solving tricky Google Business Profile issues, including the occasional suspension that requires persistence, research, and perhaps a few well-placed pleas to Google Support.
Outside of work, Ryan is a proud husband and dad to a two-year-old son who has developed a serious love for trains. When he isn't optimizing websites or troubleshooting Google profiles, you'll likely find him at the park, at the library, or reading a book—because apparently one can never have too many books.
What motivates him most? Learning. He's always eager to explore something new, tackle a challenge, and grow alongside his team. And that's one of his favorite things about Third Marble: knowing that when a problem comes up, the SEO team works together to find the solution.
We're lucky to have his curiosity, creativity, and relentless problem-solving skills on our team—and we're even luckier that he brings a good story (or a good book) along with him.
